2: Hawes’ Pumpkin Patch:

Hawes’ Farm, 21923 Dersch Road in Anderson. Events include the Harvest Fest with movies playing on the big screen, a farmers market and a bake sale.

3: Nash’s Pumpkin Patch:

Nash Ranch, one mile south of Shasta College at 10925 Old Oregon Trail in Redding. Events include a tractor pull, a haunted house, train rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, a corn maze, face painting and crafts. Call 241-0763.

4: Halloween Haunt Night and Spooky Lagoon

Redding Aquatic Center 44 Quartz Hill Road. Activities include a raft ride around a haunted house, trick or treating, costume parade at 7 and 8 p.m., a carnival with games and food. The Graveyard Grille will be open and a photographer on hand. Sponsored by Redding Recreation. Call 225-4095.

5: Sweetspot Cupcake Shop – Cafe

6: Turtle Bay #spooktoberfest 

Halloween-themed night of family fun in Turtle Bay’s Paul Bunyan Forest Camp.  Kids of all ages will enjoy ghoulishly fun activities, a special Creatures of the Night animal show featuring some of your favorite animals at Turtle Bay,a root-beer garden for kids and lots of other tricks and treats.  Anyone in costume will be eligible for a drawing for a special prize!  Finish your night of spooktacular fun with the movie classic
