My absolute favorite Christmas recipe right now is actually a jam. I have made blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, triple berry, pear, persimmon, caramel apple pie, jalapeño.. but the winner has got to be Apple Pie Jam. The Caramel Apple Pie was too sweet and although the pear was really good trying to peal a pear took forever. I changed the recipe from a couple of Pinterest Recipes to make it better of course. If you are a canner you will appreciate this, if not try and get of my good list because I give away from jam.
Recipe: 5 apples, 1 cup water, lemon juice (I guess the amount by how it smells), 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 5 cups sugar (close your eyes so you don’t see how much sugar is actually in these jars), and almost 1 box pectin. Follow regular jam directions on the box.
